Pepper Spray Showers Muni Riders

Eight people, including two children, were hurt Saturday night when someone opened up a can of pepper spray at a Muni station in San Francisco.

This happened 6 p.m. near the turnstiles of the Powell station according to police.

Police said no one suffered a serious injury, but as a precaution two station agents and two bystanders were taken to a hospital. Two more adults and two more children also came in contact with the spray, but said they didn't need hospital care.

Police say they have no suspects in the case.
