A Caltrain train struck and killed a person who was trespassing on the tracks in Redwood City Wednesday morning, according to the transit agency.
The collision happened at about 10:07 a.m. at Main Street, Caltrain reported.
No injuries were reported among the roughly 41 passengers who were on the train, Caltrain said.
Trains were single-tracking in the area after the collision, according to Caltrain. Passengers should expect to face delays.
The deadly collision marks Caltrain's second fatality of the year.
