The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting of a 64-year-old man at a gun range in Concord.
Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said an initial investigation determined the shooting death was an accident.
Medical crews at around 4:40 p.m. responded to a report of a person who was shot in the chest at United Sportsmen Inc., located at 4700 Evora Road.
No other information was immediately available late Wednesday.
