Pinkberry Opens First SF Location

Pinkberry, the frozen yogurt store, opened for the first time in San Francisco on Friday.

Frozen yogurt fans in San Francisco have something to celebrate.

Pinkberry, the store known for it's yogurt and fruit toppings, opened its first store in the city on Friday.

The new store is located at 170 O'Farrell Street in the Macy's store at Union Square.

“This 200th store marks some firsts for Pinkberry: our first store in San Francisco and our first store to be co-located with Macy’s,” said Ron Graves, Pinkberry CEO, in a statement.

“We share like-minded values and are both singularly focused on exceeding our customer expectations every day,” Graves added.

Customers can expect to find six Pinkberry flavors: the signature Original flavor, chocolate, peanut butter, mango, watermelon and strawberry.

The company advertises that in addition to their frozen yogurt options, customers select fresh fruit and other toppings, including strawberry puree and milk chocolate crunch.

The first Pinkberry opened in West Hollywood, California in 2005.
