    Two people are in police custody after Berkeley and Oakland police responded to reports of a man armed with a gun.

    The incident was initially reported at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday, after Oakland police received a call about an armed person on the 3300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

    Berkeley police also responded the scene and helped establish a perimeter around a building. The suspects were later detained, police said.
