Police Ask for Public's Help to Find SF Developer Missing Since Halloween

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 26-year-old San Francisco man who disappeared on Halloween night.

Friends, family and co-workers say Daniel Ha has stopped showing up to work and has not returned home since he was last seen leaving his apartment in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood on Oct. 31, according to police.

A roommate reported last seeing Ha around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Fourth and Brannan streets on Halloween, police said.

According to a flier posted online by friends and family, Ha has been known to experience dizzy spells where he becomes light-headed and has trouble speaking. He has never been known to disappear before, according to police.

Friends and family have set up a "Find Dan Ha" Facebook page in the hopes of spreading the word about the 26-year-old's disappearance. A search party for Ha is sceduled for 3 p.m. Friday across the street from 530 Brannan Street,

According to the page, Ha is an i0S developer at a local startup called Metromile and a Stanford University graduate.

He is an Asian man with black hair and brown eyes standing about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 210 pounds, according to police. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call San Francisco police at (415) 553-1071.
