One person died in a traffic collision in Novato Friday evening, according to police.
Around 8 p.m., police said that they were investigating at fatal collision along South Novato Boulevard, near the entrance to the Novato Fair Shopping Center at Diablo Avenue.
Police anticipate that roads in the area may be closed for several hours.
