Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Antioch

    A man died after a shooting Monday night in Antioch, according to police.

    At 8:03 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of Peppertree Way. At the scene, officers found a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The victim's identity was not released.

    Police did not identify a suspect or provide a motive for the shooting.
