Stolen Fuel Truck Crashes Into Reid-Hillview Airport Fence in San Jose

San Jose police are investigating reports of a stolen airport fuel truck that crashed into a fence at the Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose Friday night.

The San Jose Police Department received a call around 8 a.m. Saturday morning from the Reid-Hillview Airport operations staff alerting them about an "attempted stolen vehicle" Operations staff told police that someone tried to take a jet refueling truck and attempted to drive it through an airport fence, but crashed and got it tangled in the fence.

Officers responded to the airport and are currently investigating what happened. No one is is custody at the moment.

San Jose Fuel, which owns the truck, had crews working to free the truck Saturday morning.
