San Jose police are investigating a fatal shooting reported late Friday.
At 5:38 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Oakbridge Drive for report of a person shot. Police received several calls reporting multiple gunshots in the area and a male laying on the street.
When officers arrived on scene they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
A gray compact vehicle fled the scene with multiple occupants, police said.
