Police on the San Jose State campus are investigating a death there Sunday, the third killing in San Jose this weekend.
Police said they found a man's body Sunday afternoon in a SUV near Spartan Stadium. Police described the victim as a Hispanic man, about 40 years old.
A police spokesman from the university said the victim is not a student. Police have not said how the man died.
This is San Jose's 37th homicide this year. San Jose is on pace to exceed last year's total number of homicides of 46, which was the most in 20 years.
