A man was fatally shot in Oakland Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded at 3:28 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of 17th Avenue, near San Antonio Park. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was later pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
