Police are investigating a stabbing reported Friday night in East San Jose.

At about 9:16 p.m. police received reports of a fight on the 1500 block of E. San Fernando Street. When officers arrived they found two victims who were suffering from at least one stab wound each, police said.

The victims, both men, were transported to a local hospital and were being treated for their injuries late Friday.

Police a short time later were able to locate a man suspected of being involved in the incident. The suspect was also transported to a hospital for injuries he sustained during the altercation, police said.

Investigators do not have a motive at this time and said the fight does not appear to be gang related. Police also said it appears all involved were known to each other.
