Police Seeking Possible Witness in Alleged Napa Valley College Assault

Police are asking to speak with a possible female witness to an alleged sexual assault at Napa Valley College Monday, police said.

The victim in the assault entered a women's bathroom in the college's 1800 building at about 2 p.m., according to police.

The victim told officers she saw another female person inside the bathroom washing her hands, police said. The possible witness then left the restroom and the assault took place, they added.

Police are describing the suspect as a white man, 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall, with blue or light-colored eyes and wavy light brown hair, police said. The suspect may have been wearing jeans and carrying a black hoodie.

Officers learned of the assault Wednesday, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to get in touch with Investigator Shulman at (707) 257-9575.
