No Major Injuries in 101 Crash

All lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco are blocked because of a multi-vehicle crash

A three-vehicle crash that blocked all lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco for nearly an hour tonight did not cause any major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. near the Cesar Chavez Street offramp. One lane reopened at 9:18 p.m., followed by a second lane at 9:26 p.m. All lanes were reopened at 9:57 p.m.

A total of three vehicles, including a big rig truck, were involved in the trash. A 2009 Toyota Camry was overturned and blocking two lanes, and a possibly pregnant woman were trapped inside.

She and another person were transported to San Francisco General Hospital with complaints of pain, but their injuries were not severe, according to the CHP.
