President Obama Heads to Piedmont for Dinner

Piedmont residents say they couldn't be more excited that President Barrack Obama is coming to their neighborhood

Piedmont residents say they couldn't be more excited that President Barrack Obama is coming to their neighborhood for a $38,000-a-plate fundraiser at the home of big time Democratic campaign donors, Wayne Jordan and Quinn Delaney.

)"To visit us in Piedmont is a wonderful thing because we are Obama people," said Judi Debonis of Piedmont.

As bomb sniffing dogs swept the couple's house, President Obama touched down at Oakland International Airport where Oakland Mayor Jean Quan and Congresswoman Barbra Lee greeted him.

The President then headed to a location near Lake Merritt for a round-table discussion with tech leaders.

But feelings surrounding the President's visit aren't all pleasant.

Medical marijuana advocates held a rally this afternoon hoping to let the President know they're angry about the federal crackdown on dispensaries, including Oakland's Harbordise Health Center.
