The Presidio Trust late Thursday revealed the newest plans for a tunnel top park.
The 14-acre park will join the main post at the new Presidio Parkway and Crissy Field. Officials said the $52 million project is funded by donations, with the Presidio Trust raising $32 million to date.
The Presidio Trust has been holding public meetings to gather public input and gauge its enthusiasm for some proposed features. The design phase is expected to last another year.
The new park is scheduled to open in 2018.
