The public is invited to a celebration Monday to honor the life of a Martinez woman killed in a gravel truck accident.
A gravel truck toppled over on March 23 and crushed 32-year-old mother Lindsey Comb’s car as she was trying to move it. Since then, fundraisers have brought in more than $14,000 to pay for funeral expenses.
The event will be held at the Martinez Sportsmen’s Club from 11:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
