Raiders WR Won't Be Charged In Alleged DUI

Jacoby Ford's BAC at time of arrest not revealed.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford won't face charges stemming from his March arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, according to reports.

The 25-year old was spotted March 14 driving eastbound over the Bay Bridge at 75 mph, twenty miles over the 55 mph limit. He was pulled over as he exited the freeway in Oakland, the Oakland Tribune reported.

California Highway Patrol officers arrested Ford after smelling alcohol on his breath and in his Mercedes, the newspaper reported. He was booked into jail and released "within hours."

Alameda County prosecutors announced this week that they will not file charges against Ford, a Florida native who's been with the Raiders since 2010. They would not specify why.

Ford's blood alcohol content is not known; prosecutors have not revealed it.
