Rebuilt, Never Lived In $2.8M Palo Alto Home Hits Market for $9M

A Palo Alto home purchased in 2013 for $2.8 million has been rebuilt and listed for $9 million.

The 4,003 square foot five bedroom, five bathroom home at 2111 Barbara Drive was designed by Feldman Architecture, built by NorthWall Builders and sits on a 9,180 square foot lot. The Redfin listing describes it as a "masterpiece of contemporary aesthetics," a one-of-a-kind capsule of enchanting magic that includes sliding aluminum glass doors and a roof garden. The owner had it built, but has never lived in it.

SFGate questioned whether the latest buzzed-about real estate property in Palo Alto is worth a $6 million appreciation in three years.
