A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of illegally possessing a handgun after police received a report about a man "smoking drugs" in a Maserati on Christmas Day, Fairfield police said.
Officers responding to the 200 block of Jackson Street around 11:40 p.m. Monday found evidence of controlled substance use.
A search of the vehicle and its occupants allegedly turned up a concealed and loaded handgun that police said belongs to Francisco Ortiz from Fairfield.
Ortiz was arrested on suspicion on suspicion of illegally possessing a concealed handgun.
