Despite the losses, Howard Bach has given badminton a good name.

San Francisco native Howard Bach and his badminton partner, Tony Gunawan, lost for the second straight day during the Olympic games on Sunday.

The pair are now 0-2. They lost 21-12, 21-14 to Malaysia's Kien Keat Koo and Boon Heong Tan, according to wire reports.

Bach and Gunawan are poised to play the Japanese team on Monday, though they are on the verge of possibly being knocked out of the games altogether.

Despite the losses, Bach has given badminton, especially in the Bay Area, a good name.
