WATCH: SF Public Utilities Commission Releases Sewer Rap Video

San Francisco Public Utilities Commission has created a rap song and videos to bring awareness to the marvels of the city's sewer system.

"You Can't Live A Day Without Me" breaks down how the system is constantly working for San Francisco's citizens over a minor key melody. One lyric in the song foreshadows some major upcoming improvements to the sewer system itself, namely an overhaul in seven years: "2022 we'll be out with the old and in with the new."

The lyric video for the song is live on YouTube, while the official video will be premiered Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at a free launch party at the Koret Auditorium.

In the event's description on Eventbrite, a rep introduces the SFPUC as "the city agency that developed the witty sewer public awareness campaign filled with slogans like, 'No one deals with more crap than I do' and 'Your #2 is my #1.'"
