Rescue crews in San Francisco late Monday responded to a body recovery below Cliff House, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
One person was found dead on the shore, and the death will be investigated by the U.S. Park Police, SFFD said.
The incident is unrelated to a sinking vessel in the same area about 1 p.m. Monday, as well as a new report of a sailboat sinking in the same general area, the fire department said.
No further details were available.
