A San Francisco trauma doctor was arrested at San Francisco International Airport on a drug possession charge after he was found with Ketamine, a powerful anesthesia sometimes used as a recreational drug.
Keith Loring, 47, was cuffed after arriving on a flight from Burbank, police said. He "admitted to being in possession of Ketamine," according to a sheriff's office statement.
A bag with drug paraphanelia in it was discovered on Loring saet on the plane, authorities said. He was arrested by sheriff's deputies and San Francisco police and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Ketamine, which goes by the street name "Special K" or "Vitamin K," is used in human and veterinary medicine.
