Once a vandal, always a vandal.
The "people arrested in a vandalism spree in downtown San Francisco were likely involved in similar protests" in the Mission last month, according to police.
Police arrested 20 people, most from outside of town, on Saturday after they tossed projectiles at police officers and wore black clothing, the San Francisco Chronicle.
The protesters gathered at Justin Herman Plaza at 3 p.m., the newspaper reported. A police officer was slightly injured by "tossed flares, bags of paint, and other objects."

The protests were shut down by 3:30 p.m. at California and Battery streets, the newspaper reported. More protesters were arrested at Pine and Sansome streets.
