SFPD on Hand at KUSF Meeting

The public is still bitter about the sale of University of San Francisco's student radio station, KUSF, and the university isn't taking any chances.

At a meeting Wednesday night, no less than six police cruisers and 20 uniformed officers were on hand, reports the SF Appeal.

Lt. Kevin Dillion of campus security told the Appeal the decision came down from the on-site SFPD officer-in-charge, based on the size of the protesters marching towards the auditorium where the meeting was held.

"The numbers [of the crowd] reached a certain point, and at that time the decision was made to call in a certain number of officers," he said. "It's not an excessive amount of officers for a demonstration."

Below is a video taken Tuesday night when a group of students entered a university official's office, in an attempt to get some answers.
