SJ Family Captures Burglars on Home Video

The motion sensors at the family's home on May 30 alerted Abad that two suspects wearing black T-shirts were in her home.

Julie Abad of San Jose is hoping that the release of home surveillance video showing burglars ripping off her Berryessa home will lead to their arrest.

The motion sensors at the family's home on May 30 alerted Abad that two suspects wearing black T-shirts were in her home. She could see them on video stealing her belongings. She called police, who arrived, but not in time to catch the men.

"It's very scary," Abad told NBC Bay Area, "seeing a stranger in your house."

She said it was especially hard for her sons. The burglars stole all of their video games and equipment.
