San Jose Police Investigating Shooting of Teenager

The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

San Jose police are investigating the shooting of a teenage boy in East San Jose.

Police responded to a call of a shooting at 9:35 p.m. Thursday and found the boy with at least one gunshot wound in the 600 block of Sanders Avenue. He was transported to a local hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.

Unidentified suspect(s) remain at large after fleeing the scene before police arrived. The circumstances and motive remain unknown.
