Sacred Heart Community Services needed more than 5,000 turkeys at the beginning of this week to serve the 7,000 families they had promised to feed on Thanksgiving.
The South Bay came through.
The traditional food drive is such a big part of the Presentation culture that a recently retired teacher even returned to help direct traffic.
And KLA Tencor donated $40,000 on Wednesday morning.
