San Francisco Camp Counselor Accused of Sexual Misconduct Arrested

A camp counselor from San Francisco was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Arizona Thursday for his role in multiple sexual misconduct allegations involving minors.

Accusations made against Evin Blanchard, 24, claim that he inappropriately touched young girls while working at a camp. He is also accused of trying to ask the young girls for explicit material as well as making attempts to deliver sexual content to the minors, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Blanchard was wanted by the San Francisco Police Department for five counts of child molestation, four counts of sending explicit material to minors and producing child pornography, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Members of the Arizona WANTED Violent Offender Task Force made the arrest in Phoenix, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
