San Francisco Median Home Sale Price Rises to $1.175M

In a real estate twist that shocks no one, San Francisco's median home selling price has risen again.

According to SFGate, June's average home prices are up 2.2 percent over the past month and 17.5 percent over the past year. The current figure for such real estate is $1.175M.

The publication found that this price, though connoting of luxury, doesn't actually get a buyer very far in San Francisco. Examples cited include a 1407-square foot two-bedroom loft in Dogpatch and a 961 square foot two-bedroom condo in Noe Valley.
