San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee announced Wednesday that he is betting a Bloody Mary on the fact that the 49ers have more than a Hail Mary's chance of beating the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday's NFC Championship game.
Lee and Seattle Mayor Ed Murray on Wednesday disclosed the terms of their mayoral bet on the big game, which is being played in Seattle and will decide the NFC's entrant in the Super Bowl on Feb. 2.
If Seattle wins, Lee will send Murray a Bloody Mary drink mix from the restaurant Lefty O'Doul's, along with Mitchell's ice cream and Poco Dolce chocolates. If San Francisco wins, Lee will receive Molly Moon's ice cream and Theo chocolate from Seattle's mayor.

The losing mayor will also help the winning mayor in raising $10,000 for a food bank or meal program in the winning city, according to Lee's office.
Lee said he doesn't think he'll have to send the Bloody Mary mix but said Seattle might need it "for the headaches they'll have after this."
He said the mayors also "had some other ideas like betting our Bay Area sunshine against their Seattle rain...we need some rain."

Murray said he has faith in the power of Seattle's noisy fans, referred to as the team's "12th man."
"The 12th man will boost our players and make it very tough for our division rival 49ers to get in a win in Seattle," Murray said in a statement. "We can't say this enough -- bring your earplugs."
Both mayors encouraged fans to treat each other with respect and practice good sportsmanship.
