A man who allegedly barricaded himself inside a home in San Francisco's Ingleside neighborhood on Thursday evening has been taken into custody Friday morning, a police spokeswoman said.
San Francisco police Officer Grace Gatpandan said the individual was taken into custody shortly before 9 a.m. Friday morning and that the home, located near the intersection of Ashton and Grafton avenues, was searched and secured as of 9:50 a.m.
Police were first called to the 800 block of Grafton Avenue at 6:10 p.m. Thursday after a 49-year-old man allegedly went into the 81-year-old victim's house and got in an argument with her, police said.
The residents of the home fled and the suspect remained inside, barricading himself there.
