San Francisco Crews Investigate Suspicious Power at SFO

The call came in just before 9 a.m.

San Francisco police and firefighters arrived at the San Francisco International Airport on Tuesday to investigate reports of a suspicious white powder.

But by 10:30 a.m., crews had deemed the powder non-hazardous. They bagged it up and hosed the area.

The powder was first spotted before 9 a.m. in a brown pail on the sidewalk near Terminal 2's Virgin America.

No one was evacuated..
