A furnished three bedroom Four Seasons penthouse is renting for almost $30,000 per month in San Francisco, topping one site's list of most expensive rentals currently on the real estate market.

A representative for RENTCafe told NBC Bay Area they analyzed long term rental properties from the city's "main listings sites, brokerage firms and famous local brokers' sites" to come up with a top 10 list of most expensive rentals.

The analysis excluded properties listed directly by owners as well as short term and vacation rentals.

While several condos appear on the list, there are some estates as well, including a three-bedroom Pacific Heights mansion designed by acclaimed local architect Sandy Walker for a cool $25,000 per month.

A monthly rent of $16,000 was enough to land a two-bedroom condo on Davis Street in the Financial District at the bottom of the list.
