San Jose Crews Battle Vegetation Fire

    Crews responded to a vegetation fire in San Jose Wednesday afternoon.

    The tier-two blaze was located at Capitol Expressway and McLaughlin Avenue, near the Los Lagos Golf Course and Coyote Creek.

    The flames spread slowly over about two acres, officials said. The fire didn't cause injuries or threaten structures.

    The NBC Bay Area traffic camera captured smoke billowing from the scene of the fire.
