2 Men Dead, Woman Sent to Hospital in San Jose Triple Shooting

A triple shooting in San Jose late Tuesday left two men dead and sent a woman to the hospital, police said.

At 8:56 p.m., police received a call of a person shot inside a home at the 100 block of Rancho Drive, near the El Rancho Steakhouse. When officers arrived on scene they found two men inside the residence who both had been shot at least once.

Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

Sgt. Heather Randol said a third victim, a woman, was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Her injuries were not a result of gunshot wounds, police said.

The victims were identified as 29-year-old Bryan Lang and his father, 61-year-old Keith Lang.

Police flooded the area searching for the shooter. A police helicopter also assisted in the search. No suspects were in custody late Tuesday.

"If somebody knows something about what happened, we're going to need a lot of help," Officer Christian Camarillo said. "We don't have a suspect description. No motive. We are going to need the public's help."

Several dogs were also taken from the home where the deaths occurred took place, though it is unclear why officers seized the pets.

Rancho Drive was closed for hours during the investigation as the homicide unit investigated the scene.

Tuesday night's killings are the city's 27th and 28th homicides this year.
