The city of Santa Clara is getting some big attention for the way it uses its water, winning the Recycled Water Agency of the Year Award for 2014.
More than 13 percent of its total water supply is recycled.
The city uses recycled water for things like landscaping and toilet flushing.
WateReuse Association honored the city Tuesday at its conference in Newport Beach.
