Aside from packed public transportation stops, Santa Clauses could be seen shopping, having coffee, walking their dog — also dressed as Santa Claus — and eating at any of the local stops along the route:

Organizers also asked that participants bring a new, unwrapped toy for the San Francisco Fire Department Toys Drive.

Donations for the annual toy collection can still be made at any San Francisco firehouse, online or by mail at San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program, 1139 Mission St. San Francisco, CA 94103.
