Arnold Schwarzenegger has withdrawn a request that a judge terminate Maria Shriver's rights to spousal support, according to an amended divorce filing.
The amended document replaces a filing last week. It indicates the former California governor is now open to spousal support and willing to pay Shriver's attorneys' fees.
The couple announced they had split in May. Shriver filed for divorce July 1 after 25 years of marriage.
Her divorce filing came after Schwarzenegger revealed her fathered a child with a member of the couple's household staff.
The spousal support issue and who will pay Shriver's attorneys' fees were the only differences in the couple's initial filings.
They are seeking joint custody of two of their sons, who are 17 and 13. They also have two daughters, Christina, 19 and Katherine, 21.
Christopher, 13, is recovering from a surfing accident in Malibu.
