Water service has been restored in a Danville neighborhood where a water main break occurred earlier Thursday, town officials said.

The break was reported around 4 a.m. in the 200 block of Franciscan Drive off of Camino Ramon.

Residents on that road, as well as La Pera Circle and Calistoga Court were affected, but the town said on Twitter at 1:40 p.m. that East Bay Municipal Utility District crews have restored all service in the area.

Franciscan Drive remains closed, but the town estimates it will reopen by 4 p.m.
