A stretch of Interstate 280 in San Francisco was closed for about six hours Tuesday morning when a shirtless man straddled a freeway railing and was shouting obscenities at police.
It almost appeared as though the man was playing chicken with police officers, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 101.
The Sig-Alert was issued shortly after midnight, and ended before 6 a.m when California Highway Patrol officers ended up tasing the man and taking him to San Francisco General Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
