Silver Alert Issued in Fremont

Police in Fremont are asking for the public's help in tracking down a missing elderly man who suffers from dementia and is hearing impaired.

David Mock, 88, was last seen in the area of Margery Drive and Fremont Boulevard at about 7:30 a.m. today, according to police.

Mock, described as Asian, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 135 pounds, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, brown slippers and a white handkerchief around his neck, police said.

If contacted, he may say he is from San Mateo, according to police.
