“Skinny Face” Man Robs, Drags, Kicks 87-Year-Old Woman: Police

San Francisco police on Wednesday released images of a man they say robbed an 87-year-old woman, knocked her to the ground and dragged her so hard she suffered multiple broken bones.

The robbery was reported on Aug. 8 at 9 p.m. in the 500 block of Leavenworth Street in the Tenderloin District.

The man is described as being in his 40s or 50s, standing 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a "skinny face." He was last wearing a light knit cap and dark coat, possibly made of leather.

Police said the elderly woman is still recovering from bruises at a care facility.
