Meet a software engineer, originally from Taiwan and now living in Fremont. Jerry Ting has a passion for nature and the exquisite eye of an artist. Working from home, Jerry Ting leaves his labors almost every afternoon at 2 to venture into the lovely protected landscapes of the East Bay. He finds wildlife on the wing and takes some of the most extraordinary photos of birds we’ve ever seen. He also paints perfect photographic portraits of wetlands and wide open vistas and all kinds of native animals who populate the Bay Area’s backyard.
