Source: Man Arrested Following Elderly SJ Home Invasion

A source told NBC Bay Area on Thursday that a man had been arrested in connection with a brutal home invasion of an elderly couple in San Jose's Alamaden Valley earlier this week.

The source said the man was arrested about noon at Phelan Way and McLaughlin Avenue in East San Jose, though no more details were immediately provided.

On Wednesday, police announced that the two cars stolen the home invasion on Monday of a 73-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman in their home on Bret Harte Drive had been recovered: a 1997 Toyota Camry was found near Hollister, and a 2007 green Toyota Highlander was found in the Uvas Reservoir

San Jose police have been looking for "several" men who forced their way into the couple's home and tied them up and ransacked their home.
