“Starbucks of Marijuana” Entrepreneur Coming to SF

And former Mexican president Vicente Fox, too.

Can marijuana be made legal? And can it be sold in stores?

Yes, it can, says one entrepreneur, who is scheduled to visit San Francisco on Monday along with former Mexican President Vicente Fox.

Jamen Shively is a former Microsoft engineer who has begun his very own premium marijuana retail brand: Diego Pellicier, Inc., according to SF Weekly.

He'll be in the area to talk about how legalization is hurting Mexican drug cartels, the newspaper reported.

He may also speak to how legalization will help him open up 100 marijuana shops in California, plus more in Washington and Colorado.

He's scheduled to speak at noon Monday at the St. Francis Drake Hotel near Union Square.
