Steph Curry's New Shoe Line ‘Chef' Gets Roasted on Social Media

Steph Curry may be a basketball champion and a master of emojis, but the 28-year-old Warriors point guard has some work to do before he's a credible shoe designer, according to social media.

Since unveiling his new Curry 2 Low "Chef" sneaker collection with Under Armour on Thursday, the two-time MVP and his shoes have been the subject of light-hearted jabs and mockery. Many Twitter users have pointed that -- unlike his basketball career -- the kicks seem rather uninspired.

Even Jimmy Kimmel got in the mix, making a parody commercial for the "Chef" shoes that feature a suburbanite doing mundane tasks around the house, like cleaning out a gutter.

Curry, however, seemed unfazed by the critics during a post-game interview after Friday's drama-filled Game 4 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

When a reporter pressed the father-of-two about the response the shoes have gotten, Curry said simply that the shoes were "fire."
