Marin County sheriff's investigators are looking for the driver of a purloined mortuary van found crashed in rural west Marin, according to reports.
The van, from Santa Rosa Mortuary, was reported stolen earlier in the week. It was spotted Thursday afternoon, which sent sheriff's investigators springing into action, the Marin Independent Journal reported.
The silver van was found on El Mirador, where it had crashed, the newspaper reported. The occupant was seen riding away on a bicycle. He has not yet been found.
The van is used to carry flowers and was empty at the time of the theft, the newspaper reported.
Deputies are still looking for the suspect.
